Croyland 2011
(The Article Follows)
On Saturday 2nd. July as has been our custom in past years, we led a pilgrimage to Crowland. Although the weather was yet again good, and lent itself to our open air Divine Liturgy, sadly the numbers attending this year were disappointing, possibly due to our having to travel in private cars as a minibus could not be arranged.
Fr. Samuel from Audley in Staffordshire was unable to attend this year due to presiding at a baptism but a couple of stout travellers from his parish turned up to support us despite both of them being disabled.
Our friend, Fr Philip Hall from Lincoln (All Saints of Lincolnshire), led the veneration of the relics.
Our thanks again go to the Anglican priest and his parishioners at Crowland for their warm hospitality.
