The Wedding took place at St Columba's on Saturday, 7th January 2012, of Alexander and Jessica. We have been pleased for the past few weeks to welcome Alex and Jessica to our community, albeit, we believe, on a temporary basis - Alex is a guest in this country from his homeland in Canada and, so we understand, met Jessica whilst studying in London. The happy couple, it is expected, will eventually return to Canada but not for some time so we hope to blessed with their continued attendance at the Liturgy for the foreseeable future.

We were also pleased to welcome Jessica into the Orthodox Church by Chrismation the following day, Sunday 8th January. Jessica, who was sponsored for her Chrismation by her father-in-law, Jim, took the name of Helen in Orthodoxy. We wish them both every happiness in their lives together.

The first six photographs in the above series are of Alex's and Jessica's wedding with the final one (#7) being of Jessica's Chrismation on the Sunday.
